White Fish with Scallion Grapeseed Oil
Simple and flavorful recipe for scallion grapeseed oil with talipa, cod, or halibut
Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillets cod, tilapia, or halibut
- 2 tbsp Scallion Grapeseed Oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the Fish: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Make the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the scallion grapeseed oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Marinate the Fish: Pour the marinade over the fish fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. You can use a brush or simply drizzle the marinade over the fish.
- Bake the Fish: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets, so keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
- Garnish and Serve: Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired, for a pop of color and added flavor.
- Serve Hot: Serve the scallion grapeseed oil white fish hot with your favorite side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad. The delicate flavor of the fish, enhanced by the scallion grapeseed oil marinade, pairs well with a variety of accompaniments.
