Spinach Salad with Strawberry Honey
Refreshing spinach salad featuring sweet Strawberry Honey, Rhubarb Vinegar, and Walnut Oil
Ingredients
- 6 Cups Fresh Baby Spinach Leaves
- 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries, Sliced
- 1/4 Cup Sliced Almonds, Toasted
- 1/4 Cup Crumbled Feta Cheese optional
- 2 tbsp Toasted Walnut Grapeseed Oil
- 2 tbsp Rhubarb Berry Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Strawberry Honey
Instructions
- Prepare the Salad Ingredients: Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and pat them dry using a paper towel or salad spinner. Slice the strawberries and toast the sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until lightly golden brown. Crumble the feta cheese if using.
- Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the Toasted Walnut Grapeseed Oil, Rhubarb Vinegar, Strawberry Honey, salt, and pepper until well combined. Adjust the sweetness and acidity according to your taste by adding more honey or vinegar if needed.
- Assemble the Salad: In a large salad bowl, combine the fresh baby spinach leaves, sliced strawberries, toasted sliced almonds, and crumbled feta cheese if using. Toss gently to mix the ingredients evenly.
- Dress the Salad: Drizzle the prepared honey balsamic dressing over the salad mixture. Start with a small amount of dressing and gradually add more, tossing the salad gently as you go, until the desired amount of dressing is evenly distributed.
- Serve: Once the salad is dressed to your liking, serve it immediately as a refreshing side dish or a light main course. Optionally, you can garnish with additional sliced strawberries, toasted almonds, or a sprinkle of feta cheese for extra flavor and presentation.
