Delicious, tender oven-baked carrots with Chai Tea Honey Glaze
Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp chai tea honey
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Carrots: Wash and peel the carrots, then trim off the ends. If the carrots are thick, you can slice them in half lengthwise for faster cooking.
- Butter-Bake the Carrots: Place the carrots on a baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle the melted butter over the carrots, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss the carrots to coat evenly in the butter.
- Bake the Carrots: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and caramelized, tossing halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
- Glaze the Carrots: Once the carrots are baked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish. Drizzle the chai tea honey over the carrots, using a spoon to coat them evenly.
